Thanksgiving, one of the most celebrated holidays all over the world, is a day to give thanks for the bountiful harvest for the year. While not typically celebrated in the Philippines in recent years, it was actually a public holiday in the early 20th century during the American occupation.

Thanksgiving is celebrated on the fourth Thursday of November in the United States. While the first Thanksgiving might have a bloody history, today it’s a symbolizes a get together between family, friends, and loved ones.

Aside from being a day to be thankful, it’s also one of the best food holidays of the year. A typical Thanksgiving feast consists of a Roast Turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, sweet potato mash topped with melted marshmallows, green bean casserole, and a pecan pie.
